Bicycle Sydney’s Northern Beaches

Sydney-North-Head-Ride

Adventure bicyclists Jen and Rian are preparing for their next two-wheeled odyssey. In a few weeks they’ll be departing their home-base of Sydney, Australia and heading to Milan, Italy with plans of riding the length of the country. It’s an ambitious goal but this is not the first epic ride they’ve taken on. Read more about their adventures on The Riders Tale.

This preparation ride shown in the video (below) shows Jen riding around Sydney’s Northern Beaches. She ultimately climbs the busy streets towards North Head – the northern entrance to the magnificent Sydney Harbour.

I really like this production by Rian Cope because it does a great job at showing off the great lifestyle that Aussies enjoy. The broad beaches, open public spaces around the shoreline, bright clear southern hemisphere light, and friendly people. Of course, I am a little biased. Having lived in Sydney for many years I can attest to its energy. Sydney is simply a fun place to enjoy, especially on a bike.

We look forward to following the adventures of Jen & Rian and wish them safe travels in Italy.
