Cycling down the path of life

350 South – An American Journey

While working in Denver, Colorado with The Wilderness Society, Irishman Ian Lacey responded to the calling of an epic adventure that matched his rock climbing and snow boarding weekends. So why not ride a bicycle from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska south to Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina?

This mammoth 17,000 mile journey would be accomplished in 350 days, and all in the name of charity. The goal was to support The Carers Association - a charity dedicated to supporting people who themselves dedicate their lives to caring for others in need.

Fortunately for us the amazing diversity of terrain was captured on video and on the 350 South blog so we can enjoy the highlights along the way. The video below provides a taste of this huge undertaking, and for more information visit  350 South.
